Here’s a unique event for our Southern California friends or friends who like to travel to and camp out in Southern California.

It’s the Great Ukulele Campout of Southern California,┬áJune 5-7, 2015 at the McGill Campground, Mt. Pino, Frazier Park, CA.

It is described as a “Fun-filled weekend of ukulele playing, singing, workshops to hone your skills, campfire jams and more!” Workshops will be lead by Brett “2ch” Santucci, co-founder and front person of “The Pluckin’ Strummers” and Bambi Leigh Hale of the “Honolulu Avenue Strummers – Montrose Ukulele Jam.”

The campout takes place at a group campsite high among the pines, just a short drive north of Los Angeles. You can come for the whole weekend, or just for a day. The whole family is welcome! There will be a special campfire program and homemade spaghetti dinner served Saturday night.
